Meet the Attendees
Just like at G4G7, Ed Pegg Jr will moderate a "Meet the Attendees" talk.
Send him a single image of your work/interests. Not an image of yourself, unless
it shows you engaged in your work. Diagrams you've made, titles of papers, and questions you're looking for collaborators on are all fair game. Nice results that you want to mention are encouraged.
Images should be about 1000 pixels high, by 700 wide. Any format is fine, but Powerpoint, Impress, Gif, or Jpeg formats are preferred. Impress is a free program at http://www.openoffice.org/.
The way it works: Ed Pegg will have his own slide, and spend 10-20 seconds introducing himself. At the bottom of the slide, the name of the next person to talk will be listed.
When Ed's 20 seconds are gone, the next person immediately starts talking with their own slide as a backdrop. At the bottom of the slide will be the name of the next person. And so on.
Last year, 30 people were briskly introduced, each with their own custom slide, in 10 minutes. If you'd like to be in this year's Meet the Attendees, send your slide to ed@mathpuzzle.com.
